yes, many here are interrested in seing Xojo do better, so it hurts to see what is happening with the tool. We do care
Very much so
Hi guys (and gals) have I missed something? Let me see… eh… nope…
Reminder to myself: Never mention Xojo in same sentence with words like Professional, Enterprise, mature, stable, production-ready, feature-complete…
The track they are heading is… uhm… final?
Rest in peace
The excuses being made by people who should know better are …
Anthony’s rationalization contortions are top-notch.
I read it too. He is really worth being a Xojo MVP as he seems to have the same low standards. How can anyone say ‘not disappointed by the sessions’ (especially with the keynote and Android one) and keep a straight face…
You see his face? ![]()
He relies his business on X… so he will not even dare to say Anne word.
It’s really ironic that the only Official Xojo Forum thread about XDC with some posts is under threat of being locked.
there really aren’t any comments about anything are there ?
This is just hopeless, I give up
I will ban myself from TOF, 1000 years
I don’t get why your comment was flagged but …
Somehow its the fault of people complaining there are bugs in the product. If we just quit complaining about them there wouldn’t be any bugs.
Somehow its the fault of people complaining about promises not fulfilled. If we just quit complaining about it they’d have already delivered.
Somehow its the fault of people using the product that revisions break their products. If we just quit complaining about that it wouldn’t happen and our projects would just work.
uh … sure ?
EDIT : LEST anyone from TOF think I sound “self righteous” I have NO doubt that I created my fair share of bugs during my tenure there.
And fixed my fair share as well.
I did try VERY hard to focus on fixing bugs first.
That was my personal priority.
I have to say thanks for XDC Anywhere starting
Our readership has gone way up over the past 3 days

You could also check the new posting about the videos for today:
I have a feeling he’s a big fan of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, that “are you still there” is at the very end of the film, after the credits. It’s fun for the movie, and if we had actually seen Geoff for the rest of his speech, it would make more sense and maybe even fun. I appreciate the effort, but would have preferred more actual news.
Alyssa stated that Geoff is going to make another video.
Maybe this is the outline for it?
Welp, definely not David’s outline.
Whew! A huge improvement from the Keynote - lots more info and explanations. I also like that he introduced and thanked the MVPs and others. This all should have been in the keynote. I do still wish there was video of him speaking interspersed with the slides, it would help humanize the team and the company. Looking forward to Nashville, where we can actually talk to them all in person.
