anyone find any reference to sales being up down or side ways for the last 3 years ?
if not then “up from last year” is meaningless since sales could have been close to 0 and “up” is dead easy
the Nashville retreat doesnt seem to mention sales
nor does the 2020 that I can see
so maybe sales tanked and now its “all up!” over really lousy numbers ?
as is so often true they ONLY tell you the good parts
and leave the bad out
so its possible sales had really cratered & have popped back up a bit (up 10% !) when thats a move from 10 to 11 (up 10%!)
context is important if not downrightt vital for this

‘Lying by omission’ is the English term, Iearned.
there are lies of omission - leaving out important facts
there are lies of commission - ones you deliberately do (or commit)
and statistics 
why. as far as I know nobody there hold a BSC or MSC of engineering. I do and so I am allowed to call me so. They do not. Therefore they are not ones. So possibly they don’t know how to write it.
In Texas these people have to BE engineers (part of the professional association) or be working for a company doing engineering work in order to use that title
I emailed back & forth with the professional society there about the use of that term
TBH I just cant be bothered to make a complaint

yeah that use … curious since that usage isnt possessive but plural
attention to detial 
Anecdotally, using an apostrophe for building a plural is called ‘Deppen-Apostroph’ in German

No direct evidence, of course. May be a coincidence as well. But I am pretty sure that at least some of the staff read INN. Here, things are discussed in detail which cannot be discussed in TOF. They certainly lack critical feedback.

And that they even read the Discord as well - or had readers that forwarded screen shots etc
Heck thats why they banned me from their forums
Not for things I said ON TOF but for things I said outside their forums that they said made me a “generally negative force in the community” or something

Being unable to say anything generally negative or critical about them stifles conversations that might just generate some real discussion about direction, bugs, etc
TOF has barely become useful for finding help any more

If they would say our programmers. Our Developers. Okay. But engineers? Sorry for that but in Germany and in Texas that is not allowed as far as I know. Okay Germany is not important for them but Texas… @npalardy found something in the tx laws about when to call somebody an engineer.
There are things that could be done
Like making it so you MUST log in to read anything - basically block all anonymous readers
I just dont think thats necessary
And if Geoff et al read things here and something happens then great
So I’ll leave it as is and see what that does
