I haven’t ridden for a long time, but my wife and I rode a couple of hundred thousand miles from NY to California and parts of Canada on a BSA and a couple of Harleys from the 60s. I live in Mexico now where bikes are very common on all of the streets and I still miss it from time to time.

there are TONS of tutorials for retro-pi and hardware requirements are very low, especially if you use a raspberry pi.

Pinball is a physical thing
I’ve played the video ones and its just not the same

When the one client took me to the Arcade Convention in Orlando a few years back I tried the video pinball machines. I felt they were 90% there as you could even do english on the machine and had some haptic feedback. Of course that last 10% is something I’m not sure they can ever get out of flat video surface.

Plus I don’t think they have implemented the “kick the leg of the machine” technique in the video ones.

I’ve played those
But give me a real ball and bumpers and such

its never to late to learn to ride. At most, sign up for a MSF course (Usually they are 3 days or weekend) where they provide you everything you need to do the course including motorcycle.

Even if you have no plans to buy one, still taking the course is something to look back on :slight_smile:

A friend of mine started riding at age 60 something, now he has toured through the US, South America and Europe. You should really try it.
