When it comes to the larger of the 2 dogs, who is part Malamute, I often wonder who is walking whom.

Fortunately he’s a Pug/Malamute mix so it’s not as bad as it could be.

No, I can’t visualize how that worked either. He is basically a small-ish Malamute with pug legs stuck onto him.

I cant picture that pair either as mom & dad or the offspring

He was a rescue from the pound. Genetic testing says mostly Pug and Malamute with a small dash of terrier in there somewhere. All I know is, he pulls the leash like a sled dog!

We met an actual purebred Malamute on the walking path one day. Our mutt was entranced / in awe, the Malamute just looked bemused, like he’d met an inbred cousin.

Malamutes are super nice
Every one I’ve ever met has been soft & sweet
& loved to run
No wonder they make such awesome sled dogs
