Not if none of the candidates are any better than the incumbents. The two party system has a stranglehold on the USA and is causing an ever-widening divide.
One thing I do really appreciate about here - we have 4 or 5 national parties and in different provinces many more so we can end up with whats known as a minority government where no single party hold a majority in the various houses
in a way I feel that is often the BEST government because it forces everyone to compromise and actually talk to each other
No single party has the votes to just ram through any old thing that pops into their heads
There isnt quite a direct equivalent in the USA that I can think of
There are other parties - they’re just suppressed by the two major parties. Remember when Ross Perot ran for president? Since then, the CPD (Commission on Presidential Debates, which is just an alliance between the Democrat and Republican parties) started to suppress any other party. The debates used to be controlled by a non-partisan group (League of Women Voters).
The parties do seem to have a lot of control / influence over the entire process
Who can get on the ballots etc. No ?
Here the law sets out how you qualify to be a party, get on ballots, etc federally and provincially
The party in power can amend that law, but they usually dont do anything obviously super partisan (usually)
Those laws do serve as something of a barrier to entry BUT they also prevent unserious parties from being recognized - its a double edged sword
The one I cant figure out is how a party that runs candidates only in one province here is recognized as a national party but …
The problem is money - you can spend whatever you want on campaigns, so that prohibits any new parties from being competitive. I used to think that third parties should just focus on local races first, working their way up to national races…and at one time that might have worked. But now even running for local races is getting kind of crazy expensive. Without some type of campaign finance reform, I don’t see any way there will be more than 2 parties here. 
Ah yeah we have vastly different finance laws around spending contributions and nothing like Citizens United here

As much as I hate Trump and the Republicans, they never fail to make me laugh with their ridiculous accusations.
I’d be able to laugh if (a) so many people didn’t follow him, or (b) I lived in another country.
Does Trump not realise that being nominated is nothing to write home about - both Hitler and Stalin were nominated in the past, and they didn’t win either!

A news release accompanying a 62-page report from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy includes, among the “highlights” to be found in the report, the phrase “Ending the pandemic”.

What I find most concerning: They don‘t even try to hide the lies much anymore - and given the comments I read from Republican Voters why would they need to?

Watched an interesting report about the rise of case in states and various counties
In those that hosted a visit by Trump the rise was typically much more pronounced after his visit than in the rest of the state
So quite literally he’s making his own people sick faster (there’s some irony in saying that)
Dumpster’s rally here in Omaha was a mess.
And yet he persists
Fewer people with masks = more possible deaths.
Fewer unemployed people in total = Trump has reduced the number of unemployed in the USA …
