Well, they have to generate some views somehow so they promote old videos/podcasts. My guess is it will get some eyeballs. Nothing to see here - move along.

Looks like yesterday they “reposted” all episodes of XojoTalk Podcasts - 001 through 038, which originally spanned 9/2014 to 5/2022 (see https://www.youtube.com/@XojoInc/videos).

I noticed that episode 008 is missing. Don’t know if it was removed or was just never posted. It would be the one right before yours, @npalardy. :thinking:

Yes. IIRC neither API2 and Web2 were out yet. Or if they were I was in a ‘wait and see’ mode.

You need like 10 extra lines of code there to be API 2 standard

at BEST it might have been the Xojo framework for iOS

Web2 might have been talked about but I really dont recall when that started

It does seem like misdirection to post these NOW esp AFTER API 2

but not all of them discuss code in depth so maybe they are just looking to post something “fresh” to drive views and hits ??

I’m waiting for a podcast on Android. If we’ll record it right now, they might be able to re-post it in 2030, when it will be stable :slight_smile:
