The behaviour I described was only in the browser (I wasnât even aware of a âdiscourse appâ).
Now, itâs back on tracks.
Youâre certainly right about the DNS issue. However, I wasnât clear: the behaviour I described was with the exact same URL.
In other words, I would have visited a topic (from my history), clicked on the icon to go to the summary (main page), then copied the URL, pasted it in another tab, and I was presented with the gninx page. Thatâs what I canât explain.

I added a CNAME record for the www subdomain and everything should work with either now
