Does anyone else have Facebook as the icon for this website? Noticed it on Safari on my laptop just now.
Try flushing Safari’s cache (link). I think it’s a browser bug. I personally hate Facebook and never use it. There’s no Facebook stuff going on here on the site so it may just be that the icon cache is busted? I see this:
Yeah I occasionally see the wrong favicon on different sites
But I dont rely on that for anything important but I know some have their toolbars set to only show the icon and if they are wrong I can see how it would make a mess
Sorted it. It got to the stage where every tab opened with the Facebook favicon.
I deleted everything in ~/Library/ Safari / Favicon Cache /
Restarted Safari and now all is good.
