Useful macOS tips

To get the unix path to a file
Do a Get info on the file
Then select the entirety of the “where” item in the pane
Its a “field” of sorts
And paste into a text editor and it has copied the Unix path

Or you can hold down the alt / option key and right click a file in the Finder, then select “Copy as Pathname”.

that ones is also very handy
I rather hate that Apple hides so many of these the way they do
