Many users developing on Apple devices. They can participate from the new translation Service mbs implemented. But for macOS only. So developers working on Windows and Linux haven’t this clearly perfect feature. Speaking for the users of other systems: please implement this feature also for other OS like Windows and Linux.
Well, I saw that Apple offers the feature for macOS 26 (and also a bit hidden in macOS 15), so I saw this as an opportunity to implement this for Xojo (and FileMaker).
You can use free of charge local translation using Apple’s translation framework.
For Windows and Linux, I may check if they have something and implement that, too. But I haven’t seen one.
You can of course use the LLamaMBS class with a matching translation model cross platform.
I know that it is only on macos like this. But I hope you’ll find a solution for the rest.
But you are not using Xojo, so why bother? 
What do you want? If I am saying something positive: wrong, negative: wrong. But onlyfrom our opinion. So stup scattering against me nobody wants to read your XoJo inc prayers.

Firefox has on device translation. I don’t know how it works; but if someone on Windows or Linux really wanted the feature, there’s a place to start.
