Seriously? The CEO of the company for 25 years is just realizing, or forgot, about this? And it took an hour to figure it out? FWIW, I think he worked at it backwards. But WTF do I know?

That happens when CEO’s are not in deep knowledge about the product they are selling. That a CEO isn’t a programmer is normal. But in this case it is like a freak show. I mean: this man controls everything about Xojo and decides what will be done in case of changes in functionality or framework, Compiler and so on. At the end somebody which should have deep knowledge about his product. The Language, it’s IDE and the IDE Debugger,
But that explains how API2 und Web 2.0 could happen. Hance somebody has no deep knowledge about programming and Debugging he will do wrong decisions. Like the renaming in API 2.0. Does that makes sense for the product? No. But it shows why the product has so many problems.
