I’ve just stepped outside and heard the most remarkable thing. There’s a nationwide cheering going on here for the NHS. Everybody was encouraged to go outside and clap and cheer to support our frontline workers. I didn’t think it would happen but I stood outside with splendid views of the bay and all I could hear was clapping. It’s the most sobering thing I’ve ever heard.

God bless those putting themselves on the line to help.

and encouraging for all those on the front lines of this

Same here. My wife and I thought we were the only ones clapping and felt embarrassed until we stopped and could hear clapping and cheering for miles around. It was emotive.
