All of us know that simulator work is time consuming. 99% of your Bugs you can sort out with debugging with the Desktop Debugger. After that you can change to the iOS simulator and the Android simulator and later you can do on device testing. Saves time and makes debugging less boring.
time to have another category for RapidFX in this forum
I have to admit that I don’t know what tspRapidFX is bringing to the game that the B4X development tools don’t already do.
no RapidFX is a VB like programming language implemented directly on the JDK. While B4J can`t use java eco system directly RapidFX can - and that in basic language with code completion, help system and so on on IntelliJ. While it is implemented in Java and while it has a proven parser and lever it is implemented on the same way Kotlin is. So you can use - directly from the language programming, PDFBox and many, many other useful Java tools. It has brilliant connectors to all known databases and it has Wysiwyg Drag and Drop Editors for Desktop, Web and mobile. That’s RapidX
Or in other words: a VB alike language with the entire power of the Java ecosystem and the entire Java lang features compiling for Desktop, as Webapplication and as mobile application for Android and iOS.
Build your Application for Desktop, move it to Web, move it to mobile. Simply.
So when and where can we try it?
We will release Desktop and Web at 20th to the public cause we have used in our development branch many commercial stuffs which we had to replace to hold the costs down. And I have to decide for mobile if we will release with native guy what makes the available component world smaller cause the components are limited to the components both systems have relatively similar and which are reachable from objective-c via cocapod bindings. Or if we use ur own gut what would make the entire code more platform fluid between desktop, web and mobile and also it would make designs reusable directly what would help extremely in this case. So mobile I would say at the end of the month. Testing starts with the WIP build which is made for open testing for a longer time.
