Printing nightmare on Mac

I have a client using a software on Mac for last 7 years and the software w is (or rather was) working properly and printing also.

Since last one week the printing features has developed a problem.

Let me explain in details:

  • The user is a doctor
  • The software in question is for managing/writing prescriptions
  • Have build the software in FileMaker.
  • It was working properly for all these years
  • The general flow of operations is:
  1. The user opens the prescription screen and applies filter to find a patient’s prescription
  2. Then duplicates the found record/prescription
  3. Makes necessary changes which automatically gets saved
  4. Print the prescription

Now what is happening is when it prints it always prints the first record found. This is what I have not been able to understand.

Why would such a thing happen?

If anyone has any experience to share please do.

for me this is a filemaker nightmare and not a printing one …
sorry can’t help you.

This is an OLD print dialog box, but still relevant. It sounds like you are printing with Records Being Browsed AND from Page 1 to 1.

Try changing it to Current Record.
