I would think the interest (if any) would be higher on the Xojo Forum and not here where few people use Xojo and then for the most part only when forced to do so….

Looking on it it is anyhow - more or less - useless. People here mostly ARE away from Xojo or searching for an alternative. Many people went to C#, others went to JavaScript/Typescript and so on. Many mobile devs changed to flutter/dart while they had until the last day NO Android. There are too many alternatives with an opensource ecosystem at least 10 times bigger than the commercial ecosystem around Xojo.
Looking on that price I can have mobile, Desktop and Web Development at once for free. And yes, people will have to learn a new programming language, of course. But also they will open their world and their possibilities of working.
Till today nobody knows if Xojo will get the needed update ready to be still full native on macOS26 / Liquid glass. Instead of buying a 400 Bucks Plugin collection I would consider to spend a bit money for online tutorials to learn another language for my needs.
So I guess, at the end, the interest on this site will not be big enough. Follow Dave’s tip: on the Xojo forum you will be more successful. They have no Xojo critics there cause it’s not allowed there. They have their clean world without any problem. Normally I would ignore a post like this but I am always remembered to the risks this platform brings for it’s developers.

Maybe. I’ve never bought a bundle and am still an active user.
Reasons:
For what I consider the ‘essential bits’, I have always been buying direct, and sometimes to get ‘fuller’ versions. (eg MBS, App Wrapper)
Personally, I don’t need Valentina etc etc, so while these are demonstrably ‘big savings’, to me it’s the same as a local book warehouse… thousands of books at massively reduced price, but how many of them do I want to read?

hahaha yes, good joke and: no, nay, never. It will not be happened. The Customers on Xojo I have (at this time two which having old apps) are changing to Java and the rest has already changed to Java. My team became fast with rewriting Xojo applications. It is not that complex.
And I would say: no need for Xojo anymore. At least for me there will not be any rnewing needed. Cause the stuffs I was doing with Xojo are long time ended. There are no new projects which would make this affordable. So I guess: start your party but not here.

Since you do Java, check out Valentina. They have Java support.
For what? No need for Valentina. Using MySql, Postgres, OracleDB, IBMDB and more without Valentina but with DataGrip in development. Better. More reliable. And for what Valentina? For what???

Actually the reporting feature provided in Xojo is just useless. I have been using Valentina Reports for complex reports.
