This is the exact same one Apple sells… but I can’t figure how to recharge it
I plug in a lightning cable, plug in a USB charger… and NOTHING happens… no lights, nothing

you say that as if you think I remember where I put it… 
Note this is the version WITHOUT a [Hold] button on the back, althought they are two tiny pushbuttons that I can’t find descriptions of. So the instructions that say “Turn it off via the Hold button” don’t work
Is that the right one?
