Unfortunately, that seems to be in line with the spirit of the times. Many tools today lack depth. One-pagers used to be a PowerPoint trend, but today it seems to be the same for apps. That may be true for apps in the stores, but not (yet) for business applications. This may be the reason why so many JavaFX applications tend to be developed “internally”.

But it also explains why it is possible with JavaFX to change everything possible, e.g. inserting a table view in a combo box, etc. because the world is still more complex than some people want to make us believe.
