PHP is slowly moving towards running on devices…
I’ve been using Go + Wails for Uptime Watcher to create Mac and Windows versions. It can also build for Linux, but you have to build on Linux which is strange. I read that Wails is working on Mobile…
There’s also FrankenPHP which is becoming part of the official PHP group. https://frankenphp.dev

At this point I suspect the Xojo source is such a kludged-up pile of spaghetti that it wouldn’t help. Too much of it would have to be discarded and redone. Open source was an answer years ago, but IMO not now.
