Improve the IDE, add the features that are out of the box on other tools and fix bugs instead of changing names and keywords.
But yeah, most of the older post and external sites are almost useless now. Even using AI from Xojo is way more expensive that it should be. The IDE spend a LOT of tokens each sesion explaining to the LLM what the API2 is and to ignore old sources 
Also in the “We told you so”, API2 is not the only reason. Any other sane tool try to have as many beta testers as posible to avoid so many bugs in each release, they promote the leads as much as posible because if they are not followed, is another client migrating to another tool. Some people here warned Geoff that hidding beta testing and leads behind a $999 USD paywall it was really stupid but…
It once was an product feature of “Professional” license: Leads for consulting requests.

Here in the US for example we are justified a hundred times over to say “I told you so” to the MAGA faithful and it bounces right off them even though we have torture prisons / camps full of people grabbed semi-randomly off the street without due process, we have a forever war Trump promised not to ever take up, ridiculous price increases, hospitals denying urgent interventions to women if it might be perceived as an abortion, a massive lost of trust and respect worldwide, and a hundred other things. Either they deny these things as “fake news” or ascribe it to the “deep state” despite that Trump is supposedly eliminating or has already eliminated it, and on and on.
People don’t have ideas, which are grounded in reality, they have notions, which are grounded in one’s wishes. Their notions are never wrong.
Geoff will go to his grave certain that whatever becomes of Xojo is fine and dandy (or at least a natural end to its run in the marketplace) or just unfortunate happenstance and, most importantly, has nothing to do with his leadership choices, without which it would have failed much sooner.
It’s better to assume that, than that Geoff will surprise us with some belated self-reflection.

The beauty of lack of self-awareness is that no one ever has to be an object lesson to future generations – or at least they don’t have to know that they are.
For example, if you could resurrect the goose-stepping morons of the Third Reich they would consider the revulsion we rightly hold against them today to be an extreme injustice and an unfair caricature. I’m sure the ones that ran off to Argentina beheld the ruins of Germany from a distance and wished they could try the same thing again, only harder. The main feature of that mindset is to never consider doing anything differently and certainly to never acknowledge, much less learn from, a mistake.

The worst thing is: Those Idiots are back - over in the US - and they’re the ones funding these here in Europe and Germany. Unlike in the past, they don’t turn up in brown SA uniforms but in suits and red MAGA caps, made in China. They’re coming to destroy. Firstly the laws and democratic guardlines, that are there to protect the public from oligarchs and criminals. They’re coming to burn the rightness, the science and every idea, written down in books. In the end they’re setting fire to minorities, the environment and finally the people when threatening other countries and eventuallly bombing and invading them.

I’m not a fan of them. I am an Austrian economist, absolutely LOVE Ludwig von Mises (seriously, his collected works are probably my most well worn books and I reread Human Action once a year or so).
I do not like the this place. At all. I visited there once and it was enough for me.
I’ll say this: getting published there will carry weight in a VERY small circle. Outside of that circle, probably zero weight. If you want to publish with a quasi think tank that likes Austrian econ, try AIER or EconLib.

Here’s how Hitler defines Socialism (from the “Why We’re Antisemites” speech in 1920).

And we were aware that in this fight we can rely on no one but our own people.” - Adolf Hitler
You’ve probably seen this quote before, often accompanied by some “Nazism is left-wing” statement. But it’s important to know what exactly was meant by that quote, the usage of the word ‘socialist’. We need to establish the contemporary definition of Socialism. It’s generally accepted as social or collective ownership of the means of production, or at the very least proletariat ownership.
In contrast, Hitler defines Socialism as giving the group priority over the individual, and acting in ‘common good before own good’. In other words, how most people would define collectivism. It’s highly unlikely that he was talking about social ownership of the means of production (what most people define as socialism), considering how most of the economy was privately run by the NSDAP’s closest allies - and the NSDAP’s opposition to Socialists (social ownership).
So Hitler was using the word ‘socialism’ as a synonym for collectivism, and wasn’t actually talking about the common usage of the term. Therefore saying “Nazis were Socialists” is at best an oversimplification and at worst a lie.
Maybe understand the terms and their history before you make statements about them?

Hello Norman, I respect your opinion. I’m not saying you are wrong, but there is a much wider shift at play here.
The rise of low-code, no-code, AI driven developer assistance, and AI driven infrastructure platforms in my opinion have forever shifted the nature and scope of consulting requests.
Would your 20 year-old self with a spark of an idea, double-down on Xojo?, or would you “have-a-go” at building something with the assistance of an AI centric platform?
I just think entrepreneurs are rightly thinking “what’s the fastest path to an MVP?” (even a flawed MVP), then consulting becomes triage, remediation, refactoring…but you are in the game.
The other shift is minimising compliance burdens by accelerating compliance. I’m talking everything from ISO 27000 Series, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR…it rolls on endlessly. Insurers / re-insurers, VC’s and Angels, and integration partners “all” require a tick in the “Compliance” box.
Many of the “new” back-ends, offer compliance “baked in”, which lessens (but does not completely negate) your corporate compliance burden.
It’s alluring to hear. Turn-up with a concept, we’ll listen, then we promise to build a vibrant front-end, coupled with rational business rules, all gift wrapped in a compliant and protected infrastructure.
It’s the true “siren’s song” of our times.
