I have no doubt many changed where & when they could

I know of many that have moved to

  • C# since they were doing Windows only work anyway
  • Flutter/Dart since they were only doing Android & iOS
  • Swift
  • Java
  • PHP
  • Go
    depending on needs there have been suitable replacements to move TO
    Once they’re gone they seem to never go back
