This thread will have Einhugur component releases for Objo in 2026.
We put out Word Plugin 1.4 for Objo. (This is my first version for Objo but I named it 1.4 to highlight that its 100% on part feature wise with the Buoy version for same component).
(Fun fact then the C++ code in this is 100% same as in our Buoy version which is important thing and will make it somewhat easier to support both Objo and Buoy)
Word Plugin is a Objo plugin that enables you to create, read, write and edit Word docx files from Objo code.

The component is supported on:

The Word Plugin is commercial product, it comes with fully functional demo version.
If you have up to date key for Einhugur Xojo components then that key will work. If not then we offer a lot cheaper component license for Objo given that we do not have many components for Objo yet.

Libreoffice and Excel/Calc next? ![]()
Well I just found the first two bugs, lol.
Definitely happy for this, both for myself and for you though. I don’t personally have a use for the Word plugin at the moment but can use a couple of your other ones and am highly likely to buy a license when those come online.
In particular the Excel reader is something I am likely to use, although I a may use an open source reader via C# plugin only because I still unfortunately need to be able to read legacy .xls files. I’m an outlier in that regard but anyone getting random data thrown over the transom at them by hundreds of companies will have that requirement for another decade or so. Until recently I was using a Python Excel reader that could handle Excel v2 files. Lots of zombie file exports are abroad in the world …
I don’t exactly know what I will bring over since .NET already has a lot on its own. (am sort of just feeling my way around, and something might also be something new that I did not have before)
So will have see what comes. Though i probably can drive quite a bit on speed sensitive things like image processing since native code will help there.
What are the bugs you found ?
See the bolded in my quote. It’s an Objo plugin, not a Buoy plugin. Also, it’s “on par” or “on a par with”, not “on part”.
Just giving you a hard time ![]()
