if you’re working with ESXi in Enterprise Enviroments vmware FUsion is your best friend. I copy and transfer whole servers back and forth without problems.
plus VMWare Fusion gives you a real console from a ESXi VM. otherwise you have to use a HTML5 web based one that is meh at best.
