I’m building a replacement for AppShelf, the license key database, since the only modern alternative is absolute shovelware garbage. I previously stored everything in 1Password, but have had to change password managers.
I still desire an app tailored for software license key storage, so I’m building one.
For an icon, I want something a little more colorful than my usual “white glyph on a gradient” design. I have Adobe Firefly credits, so I’ve been giving it a whack, but I’m just no good at prompting for Mac icon designs.
Does anybody have experience with getting something nice from AI? I haven’t decided yet, but this app will either be free or extremely cheap. I can’t pay a designer. If all else fails, I will just fall back to my boring system.
This is what I have so far. It was created with Firefly credits, so I have commercial rights to use it. I’ve been trying it in debug mode, but the contrast of the database to the purple just doesn’t do it for me.
I’m not sure you can transfer Firefly credits, but if anyone wants to zoom and use my account that could work. Any input or advice is welcome.
