Geoff did me a huge favor pushing me away. Xojo should be tight like PHP… How in the heck can you even consider using Xojo? They are an incredibly non-reliable “partner”.

I first bought Xojo for $20.
I would pay that much for it in it’s current state, honestly. For all it’s faults, it’s never “helpfully” rewritten my code and gaslighted me for a week in the process like Visual Studio 2022 has.

I was willing to pay for Pro+. $2k instead of $800 for Pro if I could get bugs fixed. But all I got back was a wishy-washy non committal.
I’d still be using Xojo, but they refuse to address bugs in a serious way.
To me that makes it a dead product. Fix the bugs and people might come back.

To bad that the CEO is so self centered to not realize what users actually want is not what he think and so stuborn to keep his path despite being told many many times and users leaving.

In their forum they’ve been working with preemptive threats. At least they can claim some competence in that field.

Ah yes Sir. True. They can do something with Threads. But sorry, I am used to C#, Java, Rust…not to forget GO. All of them having one thing together: while they have the ability to handle threads. And not the tryout of preemptive threading for beginners.
