Notarize/Sign Swift , ObjC and even Xojo Apps

that does seem to be geoff’s claim

Probably a lot like #2
And Geoff doesnt drink

TBH I suspect he’s not concerned or even thinking about Sam but “what should we do to convince people Xojo is easy to use”
And F partners - they dont have any and, though my tenure, pretty actively shunned or avoided them
One reason shipping demo version of lots of the plugins that exist never happened
Would it expand [peoples knowledge of whats available ? Sure
MS did that very successfully with VB
Geoff has some aversion to it, & partnerships in general, for reasons I dont understand

They would say the 90 day no questions asked refund policy is that but its not the same as a free trial

100%

100%
They have no interest in growing the ecosystem
If they did they’d include demo versions of plugins in the downloads so people could see the range of possibilities

I’m still waiting for them to fix iOS signing which has been out for years so it can sign my apps
It refuses
Gregs tool works fine
I suppose I could sign via the cmdlline as well if everything went to shit

well this topic got a bit off the rails…

I fix this for you:
Geoff has some aversion against anything and anybody, proving him wrong.
He is that kind of CEO micro-managing everything and blaming others if it still does not work.

My life-experience thought me, this kind of people may be in some aspects successful. But in the end they will tear down everything, what they once built.

Update : this app is coming along quite nicely , but as always is suffering a bit from scope-creep

I have it creating a nice looking DMG file, so back to testing the ZIP and PKG outputs

Congratulations Dave,
The more ways to reliably sign apps for the App Store the better. especially if they are simple to use.
Best wishes to all for the coming year.
