To me the most disappointing thing is perhaps that Geoff might read this and think “well I can just ignore those whiners since they are cheering for Xojo’s demise”
I’m not
I WISH, really truly wish, they could & would fulfill the ambitious idea of being a great x-platform tool
And I’d love it IF they would seriously listen to the criticisms and complaints and rather than just ignore them actually DO something to correct them & get better at doing what they do.
And make a great tool for professional developers, and hobbyists, citizens alike.
I do not believe those goals are mutually exclusive.
For many many years I truly thought this was possible.
But the longer I worked there the more it became clear there was no intention of doing that.
