Installed Intel vs M1 apps

On TOF someone said they were trying to id Intel vs M1 apps before installing Rosetta

macOS already does that for you.

  1. “About this Mac”
  2. “System Report”
  3. Software → Applications

All installed apps are listed along with their “kind”

  1. Apple Silicon (M1 Only)
  2. Intel
  3. Other (no idea what these are)
  4. Universal (M1 and INTEL)

“Get Info” on a specific app will do this, too.
