Analyzing the situation comes always to that form of conclusions when the analysis is done objective and not subjective in the marketing thinking tunnel
Xojo needs to focus on updating their code to bring it up to modern standards
Not chasing shiny baubles
Having a component, like the mySQL plugin, is great.
Having a working one is sort of a basic requirement.
And as Maria/mySql update Xojo needs to as well
Or just actually give us a working down load of the mySQL plugin that compiles !
